IN THE RUN-UP TO ROUND 2
The Board of Experts of the Foundation headed by its Trustee Eldar Akhmetgaliyev shortlisted 24 of the 72 applications submitted to the competition of the Internships in IT startups in USA program. These applicants will be invited to the second round of the competition.
The first-round winners include the creator of the iOS app Kino.kz 2.0, author of another iOS app, MyKazpost, developer of a self-learning toy car prototype and research fellows of the country’s leading universities. There are five women who will continue in the second round, which is all the more gratifying.
The second round is taking place on April 12-21. Each participant will receive a link to an online test. This stage of assessment will test the applicants’ psychological characteristics, intelligence, and perception of questions.
At the close of the second round — approximately after April 21 — 10 participants of the third round will be shortlisted. The representatives of the Board of Experts of the Foundation will interview the contestants via Skype, and on April 27, we will be able to announce the names of five finalists, of those doing internships in the hottest startups of Silicon Valley.
