CHILDREN’S CHESS CUP OF KAZAKHSTAN COMPLETED

Kazakhstan Chess Federation, Chess Academy “The National Union of Chess Players” and science and research Shakhmardan Yessenov Foundation organized the tournament. The Cup brought together young players from all over the country under 14 years old.

13-year-old Ramazan Zhalmakhanov from Shymkent has become the real hero and the winner of the event. The teenager won the Cup, qualifying for the world chess championship and 100 000 tenge. Kazybek Nogerbek (11 years, Astana) is the silver medalist of competitions, he got 60 000 tenge as a prize. Arystan Isangulov (12 years, from Semey) and Ruslan Salimov (12 years, from Kostanay) shared the bronze medal of the competition. Each of them received a prize of 40 000 tenge.
