Yessenov IELTS Pro

Shakhmardan Yessenov Foundation is pleased to announce the Yessenov IELTS Pro competition, offering up to 80 educational grants for a free online IELTS preparation course.
If you are:
- a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan aged 18 or older;
- are a full-time bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD student, or a working professional;
- specialize in natural sciences, mathematics and statistics, information and communication technologies, engineering, manufacturing and construction, or healthcare;
- have an English proficiency level of at least B1;
- want to improve your English and prepare for IELTS to pursue further education and professional development.
You have a chance to WIN A GRANT and take a free online IELTS preparation course!
The course will be delivered in partnership with Bonas MacFarlane Education, a leading UK-based education provider, from November 2026 to May 2027. Classes will be held twice a week for 90 minutes.
Upon completion of the course, the Foundation will select the 25 top-performing participants and cover the cost of their IELTS exam.
To apply, complete the online application form on the Foundation’s website and submit the required documents between September 22 and October 21, 2026, inclusive.
Required documents:
- a copy of your national ID;
- an essay on “How an IELTS Certificate Could Change My Professional Trajectory”, limited to 700 words.
Additional documents:
- academic/research certificates or diplomas – no more than 2;
- certificates recognizing social engagement and volunteer activities – no more than 3;
- publications – no more than 2;
- a recommendation letter from an academic supervisor or head of department – no more than 1;
- a criminal record certificate.
Applications close on October 21, 2026, at 3:00 PM Astana time (GMT+5).
*Optional supporting documents are not required but will be taken into consideration during the application review. The Foundation will consider only a limited number of certificates. Applicants should select the documents that best demonstrate their achievements.
