A BORING LECTURE? NOT THIS ONE
Do you have the courage to be the first? Go ahead and set a goal for April 24, 2016 – the Almaty Marathon. Or how about winning a grant for a summer internship in a US lab? If you find it difficult to believe in either of the goals, then the upcoming Yessenov Lectures is the place for you to be.
The next two Yessenov Lectures will host an ultrarunner and a triathlete, Artem Yakupov, one of the organizers of the Almaty Marathon too. He will say what it takes to be the first and how a marathon lets you find answers to the life’s questions. Artem will also reveal the secret of the 4S of running. As for the opportunity of summer internship grants, two students, Assel Yezhikova and Berik Kaliullin, who already have completed their internships, will talk about the what’s and how’s of winning the grant and share their first-hand experience of the internship too.
October 27 – Asfendiyarov Medical University,
October 28 – Ryskulov New Economic University.
