IELTS? DONE!
Aktau. IELTS challenge was accepted by 11 students of the English language program of the Shakhmardan Yessenov Foundation has passed.
The exam took place at the Yessenov Caspian State University of Technologies and Engineering, where the program has been running for 3 consecutive years. The British Council Almaty was represented by its specialist Ameen Mujaed, who administered the exam. The program aims to improve the English language proficiency of the university’s students. Out of the eleven, five students scored above 5, another five got 6 points and above. IELTS was taken by the following English Language Program participants: Artyom Svyatenkiy, Assel Borasheva, Assemkhan Andirova, Baglan Yerish, Banu Duzelbay, Bayan Tolbayeva, Viktor Obukhov, Gulaiym Ilesbayeva, Gulbanu Taubayeva, Kanat Kozbagarov, and Raushan Umbetova.
Over the years, 262 people have attended the Foundation’s program. This year with the help of the program 23 teachers and 33 students of the educational entity worked on improving their level of proficiency. Most of the students are sophomores and juniors from the Oil and Gas and Transport and Construction departments. The best students of the program, shortlisted by the results of a preceding test, were given the opportunity to take IELTS.
