YESSENOV LECTURES at the Caspian State University of Technology and
Aktau
The Shakhmardan Yessenov Science and Education Foundation is starting its Yessenov Lectures program at the CSUTE named after Sh.Yessenov in Aktau. The first lecture titled Production Enchancement: General introduction will take place on 20 March.

Venue: lecture room 206, Oil&Gas building, 24th microdistrict.
Yessenov lecturesis a series of guest lectures delivered at the Kazakhstani universities and aimed at helping students with professional growth. The lecturers are professionals and leading specialists in their fields such as oil and gas, education, business and self-development
Current participants of the Yessenov Lectures are Asfendiyarov National Medical, Al-Farabi National, Satpayev National Technical and Yessenov Caspian Technologies and Engineering universities.
The target audience of the lectures at the Yessenov University is the oil and gas students. The lectures will cover the following subjects:
- Production Enhancement: General introduction
- Acid stimulation
- Proppantfracturing
The lecturer is Nurlan Kulshinbayev, a drilling specialist at Tengizchevroil LLP, Trican Well Service(Canada). These lectures are designed in English to enhance students’ technical language skills and will be a logical extension to the Foundation’s English language program currently running at the institution in collaboration with the University and Bonas MacFarlane Education Kazakhstan.
In the course of the Yessenov Lectures, students will have a unique opportunity to cross paths with interesting people who achieved much success in their walks of life, people who could be looked up to as role models by the young generation of Kazakhstani scientists and experts.
The program’s opening lectures took place at the Satpayev Technical and Al-Farabi National universities in collaboration with the Cambridge University scholars. Professor James Jackson delivered these lectures and provided briefing on seismology. The opportunity helped to establish direct contacts with the universities’ scientists and a group of students received invitations to join professor’s research team.
Thru these lectures, Kazakhstani students will expand their horizons and gain knowledge useful for their personal and professional growth.
