Yessenov Lectures: 88 Steps to Success and 8Belts Spanish Genius and Innovator Anxo Perez in the flesh in Sorbonne-Kazakhstan Institute (Abay Kazakh National Pedagogical University)
On April 28 at 16:00 Sorbonne-Kazakhstan Institute (Abay KazNPU) will host a lecture titled 88 STEPS TO SUCCESS as part of the Yessenov Lectures program of S. Yessenov Science and Education Foundation. This lecture will focus on the concept of personal effectiveness and motivation as well as practical recommendations on speed learning, including that of foreign languages.
Albert Einstein said: “Example isn’t another way to teach, it is the only way to teach”. This principle stated by the great scientist is the basis of the Yessenov Lectures project. Events of this kind is an alternative format of providing university students with additional knowledge and information for personal growth.
The lecture will be delivered by Anxo Perez (http://www.anxoperez.com/), a Spanish genius; holder of 5 diplomas from schools in the US, Belgium and China; a multilingual; successful entrepreneur; composer; musician; and the creator of the innovative methodology 8Belts and author of 88 Steps to Success, a book that became the top bestseller in Spain after only 50 days of publication. In his lecture 88 Steps to Success and 8 Belts, Anxo Perez will talk about the principles of personal effectiveness, motivation and success and share his insight on how to develop and structure one’s own habits. The talk will also cover the main principles and techniques of foreign language acquisition using a unique methodology in which a student can learn a second language in 8 months.
Any effective learning requires an integrated approach and use of various techniques. Guest lectures and master classes are a form of instruction where students are offered a unique opportunity to meet high achievers and recognized professionals in their fields who can serve as an example to the new generation of Kazakh scientists and practitioners. Moreover, the Yessenov Lectures is an opportunity to learn about emerging trends in science and business, make new contacts, visit the world’s best universities and expand one’s horizon.

- The Courage of Being the First and Summer Internships in USA Laboratories at Asfendiyarov KazNMU and Satpayev KazNTU;
- Increased Oil Recovery: Introduction; Hydrochloric Acid Treatment and Hydraulic Fracturing at Caspian State University of Technologies and Engineering after S. Yessenov in Aktau;
- Geology and Exposure to Earthquakes in Asia: Scientific Opportunity for Kazakhstan (KazNTU, KazNU) delivered by James Jackson, professor at the University of Cambridge. (This lecture resulted in the inclusion of Baurzhan Kurmanov, a Kazakh graduate student, in the research team at the University of Cambridge.)
As part of the Summer Internships in USA Laboratories program, the participants
pursued their internships at the University of California, California Institute of Technology, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, The University of Alabama, Drexel University, Lehigh University, Harvard Medical School and became postgraduate students at the world’s leading universities, such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), University of Boston and University of Tokyo.
Anxo Perez’s lecture will be attended by a participant in Summer Internships in USA Laboratories Baurzhan Kurmanov and a member of the Foundation’s expert team, Ph.D. student at CalTech Eldar Akhmetgaliyev.
