The results of the work of the Kazakhstani student and her American colleagues were published in\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pnas.org\/content\/112\/41\/E5567.abstract\">the US Proceedings of the National Academy of Science scientific journal<\/a>. In the footsteps of this success Kulyash was invited to the International conference of young scientists on theoretical and experimental Biophysics and was offered to speak on the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.biophys.psn.ru\/images\/Istoriia\/expbiophys15.pdf\">\u201cDetermination of structural changes in Orange Carotenoid Protein by the X-Ray footprinting\u201d<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.biophys.psn.ru\/\">The conference<\/a>\u00a0was held in the Russian town of Pushchino in November. K. Zhumadilova became the first Kazakh students invited to speak at the conference of such a high level. When prompted, she turned to the Shakhmardan Yessenov Foundation with request for a travel grant. The Foundation decided to pay Kulyash travel, accommodation and meal.
