{"id":606,"date":"2016-06-24T13:39:25","date_gmt":"2016-06-24T10:39:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/yessenovfoundation.org\/?p=606"},"modified":"2023-01-13T17:07:03","modified_gmt":"2023-01-13T11:07:03","slug":"letnyaya-shkola-youthmobile","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/yessenovfoundation.org\/en\/letnyaya-shkola-youthmobile\/","title":{"rendered":"YOUTH MOBILE SUMMER SCHOOL"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/yessenovfoundation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/11-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-614 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/yessenovfoundation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/11-1-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/yessenovfoundation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/11-1-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/yessenovfoundation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/11-1-250x250.jpg 250w, https:\/\/yessenovfoundation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/11-1-768x768.jpg 768w, https:\/\/yessenovfoundation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/11-1.jpg 1000w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Summer School contribute to employment of youth, as programming skills would enhance their ability to make informed choices and empower them to gain access labour markets, as well as support post UNESCO conference advocacy on Youth and Internet Fighting Radicalization and Extremism.<\/p>\n<p>The first ten-day course will take place on 4 &#8211; 15 July in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan; the second course will be held on\u00a0<strong>19 &#8211; 30 July in Almaty<\/strong>, Kazakhstan.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abThe Youth Mobile Training Course is designed to support and promote ICT and mobile programming education by building professional capacities of young girls and special needs and youth organizations\u00bb,\u00a0<strong>Mr. Andrey Shevelev<\/strong>, OIC Director of UNESCO Almaty Cluster Office, Representative to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan explained.<\/p>\n<p>During the training participants will do the following:<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Learn basics of programming in Java;<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Develop ability to study by themselves using courses available online<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Learn using libraries, APIs, platforms that enable rapid application deployment and lean development (Google Maps Android API, Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services, OpenTok);<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Create and publish mobile applications targeted toward real users.<br \/>\nKnowledge and abilities obtained during the training will help youth to get better jobs in future.<\/p>\n<p>The training is based on openly accessible youth-oriented materials developed by Kloop Media Foundation.\u00a0 Up to 20 participants will be selected through an open call for applications. Profile: participants are potentials software developers.
